The Quarry is a master planned, mixed-use development fronting Moreland Avenue, Southeast Atlanta’s primary urban corridor. The project balances public land conservation of an abandoned quarry site at the center of the site flanked by housing and commercial development at various scales. Spanning across both City of Atlanta and DeKalb County limits, developmental density transitions from high to low along the site’s long axis and carefully navigates an intricate web of rezoning efforts within both jurisdictions.
